Will Hardy is the Head Coach of the Utah Jazz. On June 29, 2022, Hardy became in the 9th Head Coach in Jazz history.
Coach Will Hardy began his career with the San Antonio Spurs as a basketball operations intern (2010) before being promoted to an assistant video coordinator (2011) – he became an Assistant Coach in the 2016-2017 season, under Gregg Popovich.
Over the course of eleven seasons (2010-2021) with the Spurs, Coach Hardy made nine playoff appearances (2010-2019), two NBA Finals appearances (2013 & 2014), and won an NBA Championship (2014).
Following his tenure San Antonio, Coach Hardy became an Assistant Coach for the Boston Celtics, under Head Coach Ime Udoka. In one season with the Celtics, Coach Hardy helped guide the team to its first NBA Finals appearance since 2010.
Will Hardy was born on January 21, 1988, in Richmond Virginia. Hardy attended St. Christopher’s High School and played for and graduated from Williams College.
While at Williams College, he was a member of the Ephs basketball team that finished 30-2 and second nationally in 2010. Coach Hardy and his wife, Spencer, have two children.
